This radio broadcast is a kind of mysterious. First of all the program starts at 2.00 and ends
at 5.00. So program takes 3 hours. The vinyl takes only approx. 45 minutes knowing that
Schumann Fantasy in, C Op. 17 is missing on the vinyl. The Schumann Fantasy takes about
approx. 32 minutes.
The release with Schumann’s Fantasy in C, Op.17 and Arabeske in C, Op. 18 are released on
vinyl in October 1979 as Peters PLE 122. This album is recorded in the Vest in Alkmaar, the
Netherlands on 29 and 30 May, 1979. So guess the program is a mixture of the original ‘At
Carnegie’ album and the Schumann PLE 122 album. Or could it be that the original concert
tape is used for this broadcast?
